The pure form of this vase shows the influence of Bauhaus and Neue Sachlichkeit on Siegmund Schütz's design for KPM Berlin. For almost fifty years, S. Schütz shaped the modern design of the porcelain manufactory. On the occasion of the 100th birthday of Siegmund Schütz and Trude Petri, an anniversary exhibition was held at the Kunstgewerbemuseum Berlin at the end of 2006.
