Children’s dining chair, manufactured by Gebrüder Thonet, no. 12303, Vienna | Designed before 1904, early model
Beechwood, Wiener Geflecht, tray and footrest made of plywood, stained and varnished; the wickerwork of the seat has since been renewed
This elegant Thonet children's high chair has become very rare. It has a very beautiful patina with seats made of Wiener Geflecht, the Viennese handircaft of cane weaving which is typical for Thonet chairs. The tray can be swung behind the seat.
